The Broan® LoProfile™ DC (LPDC) Fan is the solution for installations where conventional ventilation simply won't fit. Where multi-family applications or certain remodeling projects require it, the LPDC fan is narrow enough to be installed in a wall between 2x4 studs. WHY IT’S CRUCIAL 

• In some multifamily buildings or certain remodeling projects, it might not be feasible to install an exhaust fan into the ceiling, as in traditional, residential builds. These products allow for installation in the wall, while still offering the same level of quality from other Broan-NuTone products.
